Los Calafates Hotel

The owner was incredibly sweet and made us feel so welcome. Breakfast had tasty pastries, bread, eggs, and good coffee. It normally starts at 7:30, but she kindly let us eat earlier since we had to leave sometime after 6. Our room was simple and very clean. You need a key to enter the hotel, and visitors have to ring and wait for the owner to let them in, which made it feel safe. The dining room looked fresh and modern, and was great for Instagram photos. It's an easy walk to the downtown main street. The rooms aren't very soundproof, so we tried to stay quiet in the morning while others were still sleeping. Even so, we had a wonderful stay and would choose this hotel again in Ushuaia.

The hotel is in a great spot, within walking distance of everything we needed, and the rooms were clean and comfortable with good amenities. We had a wonderful breakfast each morning. The whole staff provided impeccable service, especially Belen, who made sure we had transport and information for our excursions every day. Los Calafates was perfect!

This was one of the coziest, nicest places we stayed in Argentina. Our host helped us with restaurant and sightseeing ideas, and was especially helpful when a canceled flight disrupted our plans. Muchas gracias, Hernan!

We had a good breakfast and found the owners friendly and helpful. The setting was quiet, a little away from the busy streets but still close enough. Our room was right beside reception, so conversations there could get loud. The bathroom needs some maintenance too, as the shower and sink are showing their age.
