Good breakfast, attentive staff, and a great location. The WiFi was awful. If you’re a light sleeper, rooms facing the harbor could use better soundproofing.

The location is good, near the start of the Main Street, but the hotel is extremely loud at night and the WiFi is very slow. The rooms also feel like they should have been renovated 15 years ago. Breakfast was the worst I’ve had in Argentinian hotels. There’s very little choice, nothing healthy, and no vegetables. It was mostly sweet yogurt, sweets, and lots of bread, with scrambled eggs as the only warm dish.

We left after the first night because the noise was unbearable. Our room was beside the main highway and next to the discotec, with music outside the window all night and cars passing by. We have small children and couldn’t sleep in such a loud room. When we asked to change rooms, they said it wasn’t possible. Other guests were complaining too, so I’m sure noise is a regular problem. The old windows and plywood ceiling did little to keep the sound out. The bathroom faucet leaked, and the shower didn’t work, so we could only use the bathtub. Breakfast was the worst of our stays in Argentina. We chose the hotel based on its overall reviews, but there are much nicer, quieter places for the price. We didn’t have this problem in Buenos Aires, where you might expect it. We had booked four nights, but they didn’t refund any money for the nights we didn’t stay. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Daily maintenance work was extremely noisy throughout my stay, and breakfast was below average. I booked a room with a view, but they said the hotel was full and gave me one facing a massive wall, so I couldn’t see anything and it affected my stay. When I checked, the hotel seemed to be only 50% full, so I felt they had lied to me. That lack of sincerity is why I’m leaving this review. Two stars for the helpful woman, the cleanliness, and the location.
