Arcobaleno Palace Hotel

The hotel is pleasant and well located, with clean facilities. Our room was well equipped, and housekeeping came daily to clean and replace the towels. Breakfast changed from day to day, and I liked it on the mornings I ate there. What I wasn't happy with were the high prices for meals and drinks. The pool and its surrounding floor were in very poor condition, with too much chlorine and little upkeep. Also, the shower area was separated from the toilet by glass, but had no slope or drain, so it flooded every time we showered.

The staff were the best part of the hotel, so friendly and attentive, including the receptionists and the woman handling breakfast. We were welcomed warmly and enjoyed our two-night stay in a clean, well-kept first-floor room. The pool was great for cooling down and sunbathing.

We found a cockroach on the wall, and I wouldn't return. The staff weren't good at dealing with problems, and they didn't even give my 3-year-old a plate or cutlery at lunch or breakfast. Breakfast was just two croissants per person and toast, with coffee, tea, or yerba mate. The walls are so thin you can hear everything in the other rooms. The hotel itself is nice, which makes it a shame.

The restaurant was good, and the location was convenient, but the place was very deficient overall. It doesn't reach the level of a three-star hotel. Service was poor, rooms were noisy, and cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The pool wasn't available, and the bathrooms were very small, about two by two, with no bathtub. The only thing I appreciated was how attentive the guys at the night reception were.
