The Rio Hermoso hotel made us feel at home, thanks to the welcoming staff. It’s very comfortable and well maintained, and the scenery feels like heaven on earth. My partner and I had an incredible stay, truly 10/10.

You’re out in the countryside here, so be ready to enjoy the wilderness and whatever comes with it. It’s a wonderful little hotel on the 7 lakes trail, right by a river where you can swim and float downstream. The food was lovely and the staff were very accommodating.

A romantic place in the forest beside a stream, with only a few rooms. Ours was large and faced the water, and there was a spacious living room with a fireplace. Breakfast was great, and the delicious lunch and dinner options were a bonus. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Loved it.

The on site restaurant is excellent, with lots of options, and breakfast is included. The owner is extremely friendly and the staff are welcoming. It’s a nice, secluded spot beside the river, but be aware that Rio Hermoso is 20km down the road from San Martin de los Andes, not in town. If you’re driving, download a map ahead of time.

A stunning setting for some peace and relaxation, with amazing staff and service. Wild horses roam the property, and there’s the most loving, talkative cat you’ll ever meet.
