We got back a few days ago, and that lake view is still the highlight. At Casona de Campo, we could enjoy it from the terrace jacuzzi. The renovated house was comfortable for all eight of us, with plenty of room, and we also loved the outdoor pool. Eva welcomed us and looked after us so warmly. Highly recommended!

Eva was attentive and lovely to deal with, and the view is the best part of this accommodation. Still, the apartment felt empty and basic as soon as we walked in. It needs more furnishings, a few pictures, and some life. There was barely enough equipment to live in: no cleaning cloths, hardly any dishes, and the pots and pans were dirty and in bad shape. The only bedside lamp didn’t work, either. Those are basic things that shouldn’t be missing. The electricity metering was another issue. I’ve never come across that elsewhere. I understand some tenants may have abused the system before, but I read in other reviews that people had been charged for electricity, which made it a particularly odd thing to encounter. We weren’t charged, but the amount was calculated in pesos, which was inconvenient and seemed unnecessary when the rent was 1.1 million pesos. Even if electricity cost 20,000 or 50,000, that would still be very little by comparison. It just creates an awkward moment for no good reason. We ended up spending 2,000 pesos on electricity. The service itself was very good, and I can’t complain about that. I’m sharing the feedback because when you pay a little more than average, you expect a somewhat more premium stay. I’ve paid half as much on Airbnb for apartments that felt luxurious. A few changes, with almost no investment, could make this much better suited to the price. Would I recommend it? I’m not sure. Some people might really dislike the things I’ve mentioned, while others might not.

Our experience was awful, both for me and everyone in our group. Just a week before the trip, the manager’s poor organization meant we had to cancel the reservation. We did get our money back, but that didn’t change the fact that we were left without accommodation at the last minute. There were seven adults and one child, and we were traveling over 800 km, so this was a serious problem for us. I see some good reviews and don’t know whether the manager has changed, but I wouldn’t call this a reliable or well-organized place. I don’t recommend it.

The house had everything we needed, and the spectacular view was just like the pictures. Everything was excellent. Thanks, Nora, for taking such good care of us. I highly recommend it and will be back soon.

The place is beautiful and the view is excellent, but I won’t be coming back. The owner was intrusive and wouldn’t leave us alone. She canceled our Booking.com reservation so we couldn’t leave a review, and to save money. She tried to charge us 70,000 pesos for electricity for 5 days. At 8 PM, she told us the trash had to go out between 6 and 7 PM, then charged us for 4 hours of cleaning staff because of the possible smell it might leave.
