Our stay was cut short, even though the price was good, the staff were friendly, and the hotel was a reasonable distance from downtown and some of Carlos Paz's main attractions. Hours after we arrived, when we went to bed, we found bed bugs in both beds. They were on the comforters and mattresses, and crawling by the double bed's headboard on the wall. From my own experience, I know how dangerous it is to sleep somewhere with bed bugs, and they could come home with you on clothes or luggage. The staff responded quickly and moved us to another room, but it was a lower category and had neither parking nor an elevator. The lack of an elevator was especially unhelpful for my older father. We asked for a refund for the parking and for the amenities we'd paid for but didn't get in the new room. They returned only the parking fee. I can't say what condition the other rooms are in. Bed bugs are drawn to human warmth because they feed on blood. I'd avoid room 303, or inspect the room before checking in.

We left feeling ripped off, and I can't recommend this place at all. The half-board arrangement sent us to another hotel about 15 blocks away because there was no kitchen here. Breakfast was poor and unappetizing, the outdoor pool was filthy and unusable, and the shared areas, including the garage, were dirty and neglected. Wi-Fi is only available in common areas, and it doesn't always work. The one bright spot was the little cat greeting people at the entrance.

The staff were the only good part. They tried to make up for everything else, but the hotel itself was really run down when we arrived, from the tiles and furniture to loose wires and stone coming off the pool. We booked from Mar del Plata based on the photos, so that was a shock. Parking was inefficient. Half-board wasn't worth it: breakfast was very basic with poor-quality bread, and dinner was a disaster, with low-quality ingredients and cooking. Wi-Fi never reaches the rooms, so you have to go to the hallway or lobby. The hot tub costs an extra 35,000 pesos per person. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give it a 3. Good luck!

The photos are fake, and this terrible hotel was disgusting. Nothing works. The rooms were shabby, with dirty walls, missing curtains, and torn sheets. The pool and "spa" had freezing water because the heating wasn't working. You have to book the sauna 24 hours ahead and pay extra. The elevator malfunctioned, and I got stuck going up to the second floor. Breakfast was awful too, with coffee that tasted like umbrella juice, "orange" juice that wasn't even from a packet, no ham or cheese, and only apples. A rip-off. It calls itself 3 stars, but doesn't deserve even 1. I'd never go back.

It's easy to get around from this well-located hotel, and the staff are friendly. There's no restaurant or room service, but plenty of good places to eat nearby. Breakfast is basic, with only sweet options that contain gluten. The heated pool is pleasant for relaxing after a long walk, though it's shallow, around 50 cm deep. Wi-Fi is slow and comes and goes. There's a small terrace and nice common areas. Be aware that you have to climb seven steps to enter, which could matter if your mobility is limited.
