Hotel Mediterraneo

The breakfast was very basic, with old pastries and toast from stale bread. The room was just as shabby: old beds, dirty mattresses, torn and filthy padding, and a damp feel throughout. I absolutely wouldn't recommend it or return, especially in summer. I can't imagine what those rooms are like without air conditioning 😳😳😳.

I appreciated Tito and the other staff, though the concierge, an older man who might have been the owner, was very rude. He even asked why I wanted water. My son and I stayed four nights on vacation. The hotel is plain and basic, and the cleaning staff made the room look tidy, but it needs a deep clean. The mattresses should be replaced, the window pane was broken, and there were no blinds, just a sort of awning for a curtain. Our fan barely worked, so the room was very hot. One day after an excursion there was no water, and we couldn't shower. It might suit someone wanting a room to come and go from freely.

Tito, the owner, was very helpful. I stayed one night, then carried on with my trip. The room and bathroom were both spacious, and there was a lovely little garden with a pool. Everything was great.

The location is good, but the hotel feels frozen in time and needs more investment. During our three-day stay they didn't clean the room, and only one outlet in it worked. Breakfast was old pastries. The bathroom flooded when we showered, and the bed needs replacing.
