Hotel Riviera

They advertised this as a spa hotel, but we couldn’t use the pool until we complained. The heated pool was reserved for a holistic medicine group, and they still wouldn’t let us in. The massages offered when we booked weren’t available either, there was no masseuse. We also weren’t told there was no elevator, which matters a lot for older people. There were only enough towels for two, even though there were three of us, and our room wasn’t very clean. Instead of a phone, it had only a QR code, which made reaching reception difficult. A disastrous weekend and a very disappointing stay. I don’t recommend it.

Our stay was spectacular, both in 2019 and now in 2026, and we’d love to keep coming back. The room upstairs, facing the pool, was lovely, tidy, and very comfortable. The receptionist was exceptional, a really friendly young man, and everyone treated us so well. Congratulations to everyone who keeps this hotel looking so beautiful for us to enjoy!

The staff were incredibly friendly, from the lobby and cleaning teams to the restaurant crew. I forgot a valuable item, and they even delivered it to my city, which was another lovely gesture. The pool and outdoor area are beautiful. Inside, the rooms and decor are dated, but perfectly acceptable for the price. We didn’t get a room with a minibar, which would have been a nice extra. It’s a three-star hotel I’d definitely return to, especially for the excellent service.

The facilities have seen better days, though they were comfortable aside from a few small details. The food was basic but good quality and very reasonably priced, so I’d highly recommend it. The location is excellent, and the service was unbeatable. Everyone was friendly and attentive, from the staff at reception, including Nico, to the restaurant and service teams. We were really impressed.
