I spent 7 days there, and the staff were incredibly friendly and ready to help with whatever we needed. I didn't have kitchen utensils, for example, and they lent me some. Breakfast was good, and the selection grew over the days, from bread to fruit. It's a peaceful place. My room faced the courtyard, with the lake off to one side. Not every room has that view, and some had a few difficulties. Still, I had an enjoyable, pleasant stay.

The pool is lovely, and the hotel looks attractive from outside, but the rooms are tiny and filled with very old furniture. The bed sagged so much that I kept sliding toward the sides when I tried to sleep in the middle, and the pillow felt like paper. I slept badly both nights. The air conditioner was ancient too, its control temperature didn't match the unit, and it leaked. A couple drops of coolant landed on my face. My partner thought we should stay another night since it was high season and finding somewhere else might be hard. I just wanted to leave. For the price, the furniture isn't worth it. I've never seen so much old furniture, and it should be donated.

The only real plus was having reception open all day and Wi-Fi, though the signal was weak. The terrace has a nice view, but there's just one table and three chairs. Breakfast is limited and repetitive, and the tables fill so fast you might not get a seat. In the room, the mattress was very old, the pillows were flat, the comforters were dirty, and the towels were torn or stained. The curtain doesn't cover the window properly, so the sun wakes you around 6 a.m. Parking was another problem: it fits only two cars comfortably, and we were woken at 8 a.m. to move ours. It also got minor scratches. The hotel advertises balconies with lake and mountain views, but that may not be available. The receptionist said guests should contact them ahead of time to request it. Facilities and service were poor.

The area is quiet, which made it a great place to unwind. It's a little outside the city center, but we could drive there in about 10 minutes. Our room had a lovely view of Villa Carlos Paz and felt cozy, with air conditioning, a TV, and furniture, and the inn itself is beautifully decorated with nice spaces to relax. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the large dining room. Very comfortable stay.
