The buffet staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was acceptable. There were lots of cakes for people who like a mostly sweet breakfast, but we missed savory choices such as scrambled eggs, eggs in general, or vegetables like tomato or cucumber. The value for money wasn't good, so we wouldn't highly recommend it. Our room had a damaged floor and some maintenance issues, and didn't have a mini-fridge, though some other rooms did. There was no water dispenser, unlike in other hotels in Argentina, so we had to buy water at a kiosk and refill it there. The pool didn't seem very clean and had a strange smell. The stay was just okay.

We walked to and from the city center many times because the location was incredible. The heated pool and sauna were beautiful, and both the room and common areas were spotless. Breakfast was a plentiful buffet with lots of fruit, cold cuts, yogurt, flan, bread, and cakes. We arrived on Friday when the hotel was nearly empty, but by Sunday staff said there were 180 guests, and everything was still impeccable. The staff gave excellent service and were incredibly helpful with any concerns. It was a wonderful weekend, and I left already wanting to return soon.

The food was plentiful and good quality, though drinks cost a bit much. Guests can use the outdoor pool, heated pool, and jacuzzi. The hotel team and cleaning staff were excellent, attentive, and helpful the whole time. Highly recommended.

The gym needs work. There's just one machine and it's broken, plus two stationary bikes, but one has a seat that can't be adjusted, so it's practically useless. There are a couple of dumbbells of about 4 kg each and a barbell with some weight plates. If you train with heavy weights, you'll need to find another gym or change your routine. By contrast, the rest made for a relaxing family getaway. Santa Cecilia Resort & Spa is a reliable option, at most a 10-minute walk from the town center, with the amenities you'd expect from a resort. We spent a lovely couple of days there, were warmly welcomed, and got a lovely room with a jacuzzi. We used both the cold outdoor pool and the heated indoor one, and everything was very clean. Breakfast had a wide variety of sweet options, though the savory selection could be broader: it was just bread, cold cuts, and cheese.
