We found the pool a wonderful bonus since it can be used in both winter and summer. The location is a 1000, just fantastic. Breakfast was very good, and tourist information is readily available.

Everything was very good apart from the breakfast and the upkeep of the pool and patio. The location is excellent, and it’s great value for money. Everything’s close by, so you barely need the car.

The money we paid for our vacation was stolen from our room. I went with my husband hoping to relax, and honestly, this was the worst vacation of my life. They don’t take responsibility; they just tell you to write it in a book that nobody looks at. It’s sad what happened to us, and I hope it doesn’t happen to anyone else. The person who took it should take this as a lesson. Management really needs to be careful about who they hire. Go somewhere else if you want to relax without being robbed.

On the 11th, we came back to our room and found that 80,000 pesos had been stolen from my jacket pocket. That very day, 400,000 pesos had gone missing from the room across the hall. The complaints book is full of theft reports. Doesn’t management read them? The location is excellent and the breakfast basic, but our reservation had also been canceled even though we’d paid a deposit, because our flight was delayed and we arrived late. We were still able to check in. I’m a retiree who came to Carlos Paz for my granddaughter’s graduation party, and the theft devastated me. In 50 years of going to Carlos Paz, I’d never had anything like this happen.
