Madeo Hotel & Spa

Every receptionist was spectacular and attentive throughout their shift. They handled all our requests, 10 out of 10, and made us feel comfortable enough to want to come back. We had a fantastic stay and highly recommend it.

The residential area is quiet, and though it's a little far from the center, you can get there quickly by car. I was disappointed to have checked the rate for a specific date on WhatsApp and then be charged more when I arrived that day. Payment is due on arrival. Hot water costs $1500, and you need to arrange your breakfast time ahead of time. Check-out is at 10:00 AM, and they're strict about it. For a vacation, I'd look for somewhere more relaxed.

The area is quiet and has a lovely view, though it's a bit far from the river beaches. Without a car it's a bit of a walk, but you can follow the riverbank, which makes for a very nice stroll. We didn't use the pool, but it looked clean. Breakfast was varied and tasty, and the receptionists were friendly and welcoming. Our standard double room was fine and very clean. It could use a mini-fridge and bar soap, since there was only liquid soap. The shower also needs a liner, as water splashed onto the floor and vanity, which is visibly swollen. I'd definitely return!

Across from the lake, the hotel is in a quiet area. It's clean, reasonably priced, and has a varied breakfast with extended hours. The staff are very friendly. I highly recommend it.
