Complejo Don Gregorio

We were three and chose the apartment that sleeps up to four, assuming there would be four beds. There weren't. The apartment had just one double bed for two of us, while the third person spent the whole vacation on a mattress almost on the floor. That's what disappointed me most. The price isn't excessive, but it isn't cheap either, and comfort matters on vacation. For that reason, I'd recommend it more for two people, or for people renting a cabin. In my view, the private apartment needs more beds. The location is ideal, a block and a half from Avenida del Sol, where Villa de Merlo's center is. The complex is large, with an outdoor and an indoor heated pool. The outdoor one looks bigger in the photos, but does the job, with loungers and umbrellas around it. The indoor pool was great for relaxing on the rainy days we had. There's also a spa with a sauna, costing $20,000 per person. I didn't use it, but I think massage services would be a good addition. Our apartment had the advertised air conditioning and a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, oven, toaster, fridge, and dishes. The TV controls didn't work properly. The bathroom was fine, with a bidet, hairdryer, and good shower pressure, but water leaked out at the baseboard each time we showered and soaked the floor. They provide soap, towels, and pool towels, but no shampoo or conditioner, which I personally appreciate at accommodations. Breakfast costs an extra $7000 per person, and the WiFi was quite good, with a router for every room. Reception staff were helpful in person and on WhatsApp. The young man on the morning shift was especially attentive and friendly. I'd also suggest putting electrical outlets near the bed or nightstand in apartment 9.

We celebrated a birthday here with friends, and the resort was really comfortable. The heated pool is a treat, the prices are very reasonable, and the service was excellent. Highly recommended. We'll definitely return.

We expected a lot from our night at the Don Gregorio Spa resort, and it was even better than we'd hoped. The suite was excellent and comfortable, with care put into every detail. Everything matched the photos, or better. We especially enjoyed the heated pool and facilities, which really live up to a five-star standard. A very relaxing, comfortable stay. We'll definitely be back.

The cabins were spacious, clean, very comfortable, and so well equipped, with great dishes and linens. The complex itself is beautiful and in a great location. Best of all was the heated pool, such a treat! Thanks to the staff for being so attentive. We'll be back!
