The rooms and bathrooms were clean, and hot water was available, so my first hostel stay was fine overall. The hosts are quite strict about the rules, though. I arrived at 8:30 am to leave my bag and asked if I could refill my bottle, but they said no, which I didn't like. Check-in is at 1pm, and breakfast and kitchen use are limited to set times. There are no cupboards in the rooms, and only two bathrooms are shared by everyone. If the rooms are full and you get up late, good luck getting a bathroom.

Gabi is a very friendly host, and the price for a night's stay with breakfast is good. The place is lovely, comfortable, and well-equipped. Its patio is beautiful, and it's close to everything. There's also a well-stocked kitchen with a refrigerator and cabinets for keeping your supplies.

Gaby, the owner, is easy to approach and gives you all the tourist information you need. The patio is lovely, and the service feels excellent and very homey. Breakfast changes day to day, with different options alongside the basics that are always there. The location is central but quiet, near the bus terminal for the hiking trails and just a couple of blocks from the beach for hot days. I'll probably come back.

I had a wonderful week here. The hostel is comfortable and functional, with lovely decor and everything well-appointed. Breakfast was delicious. It's near both terminals, the plaza, and the main avenue, which made things even easier. Thanks, Gaby, for the hospitality and company. See you soon.

Gaby, the owner, was attentive and always around when we needed anything. The warmth of the place and the chance to share time with others made the stay really pleasant. There's a lovely patio for relaxing, eating, or just hanging out. It's also close to terminals, grocery stores, supermarkets, and the historic center, while still peaceful in Merlo. Such a comfortable, beautiful place. This was my best hostel experience, and I'm already looking forward to coming back. I'm recommending it to everyone 🙌🏻
