We paid $200,000 for one night for two people, which felt far too expensive for what was offered. We had no air conditioning or cable TV, and there wasn’t enough parking for all the guests. About an hour after we arrived, a young man opened our cabin door and said it had been reserved for him and a couple of friends. They did manage to find him somewhere else, at least. The pool bottom was green, and one of the standing fans stopped working. Luckily, we stayed only one night. We had no other choice because our trip came up over Carnival weekend, when it was the only place available in the village.

I booked through Booking.com some time ago and never expected such a letdown. When we arrived, the pool was filthy, overgrown with grass, and neglected. They said they would clean it, but I spent an hour trying to get it usable for later that day. I didn’t think to take a photo, which is a shame. We planned to have a family gathering there, but my sister wasn’t happy, so I left. It wasn’t the dream place I’d imagined. Sergio and his team gave us terrible service and still haven’t returned the deposit. They haven’t responded to my complaint or shown any consideration. They’ve disappeared. Thank goodness I found another wonderful place with excellent service and a beautiful pool. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. They made my day awful. I had to move my trip forward and buy new tickets because of my mother’s health problems, but I’m still waiting for the money. If they don’t pay it back, good luck to them. Bad people. No parking. Poor hygiene. It was moderately quiet.

The pool overlooking the hills is gorgeous. With a view like that, you don’t feel like leaving. Gladys and Jose are caring and helpful, and the place has everything you need. It’s a beautiful, simple, comfortable spot for a peaceful vacation.
