We visited in February, my wife and I, and had a very pleasant stay. Monica, Daniel, and the rest of the team gave excellent service. The place was tidy and very clean, and breakfast was good in a peaceful atmosphere.

Hotel Danubio (Villa Gesell) is right in the center, about 100 meters from the beach, so we could explore Gesell on foot without needing a car. It's a simple place, but the basics are done well: it's clean and orderly, has a 24-hour reception, and feels set up for relaxing and making the most of the day. There's continental breakfast and comfortable common areas, and the team is consistently friendly and helpful. For a coastal stay, the location, warmth, and convenience are worth a lot.

The rooms were only so-so, but the price felt fair for what you get. The location is great, just two blocks from the beach and one from the pedestrian area. Every receptionist we met was friendly and helpful.

I found the hotel on Google Maps and got in touch right away. They replied quickly on WhatsApp, by landline, and by email, and the booking was easy with affordable prices. Monica and the gentleman were both very kind. The hotel is quiet and comfortable, close to everything, just a block from the pedestrian area and two from the beach. It's a two-star hotel, but the service felt five-star. Daniel at reception was fantastic, and Monica, the owner, made sure I had everything I needed for my 15-day vacation. The staff were incredibly attentive. I'll be back.
