Hotel Marina

We spent five nights here with our children, and the location and comfort made it a great place to stay. The staff really made it a five-star experience for me, everyone was so helpful and friendly. Noemí, the second-floor housekeeper, was wonderful. She always checked that we had what we needed and left everything spotless. Marta served a generous, delicious breakfast, and she was fantastic, as were the reception staff.

The little garden and pool were lovely places to enjoy mate and read, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The breakfast was simple, but the hotel has a warm, welcoming feel throughout. Reception staff were very empathetic, and when we ran into a problem, they helped us right away. The staff are what make this place so recommendable. Thank you, I highly recommend it.

The low rating is for what happened during peak season, when broken pipes meant we were moved to another hotel in the same group after booking this one well in advance. The young woman who booked us let us know about the plumbing problem on WhatsApp, and it was a real shock to hear our room for five was unavailable. We had lunch at the hotel that night as a goodwill gesture, two tiny salads for five people and a serving of chicken each. It wasn't much, so we went out for dinner later. I didn't choose the replacement hotel, and it fell short of my expectations. The rooms were basic and clean, but the beach-facing window had a torn curtain and no blinds, so light poured in at 6:00 AM. The shower was broken and leaked everywhere, and breakfast was basic. I remember a couple of women as somewhat friendly, but the rest barked answers at us as if we were a nuisance. Even so, we made the most of our time outside the hotel and had a good time with the sun, beach, and sea.

After many hours of travel, it was upsetting to arrive and find we didn't have what we'd booked. The owner and staff understood, and did everything they could to find a solution so we'd be comfortable and enjoy our stay, even though the booking issue wasn't their fault. Their service and willingness to help were outstanding. We left very happy after a wonderful few days there. Thank you so much for understanding, and we're sincerely sorry for the inconvenience. 😍🙏
