Hotel Sahara

Being only a block and a half from the beach is the hotel's strongest point, and breakfast was decent. The staff, including the cleaning team, were friendly too. But the building and rooms really need better upkeep. Our room had a strong musty smell, sweaty-smelling sheets even though it was meant to be cleaned before we arrived, and a shower so cramped it felt like standing under a waterfall. Rooms: 1/10. Service: 5/10. At this location and price, it could be a great hotel if it were maintained properly.

We spent 20 days there and came away grateful to Gustavo, his family, and all the staff. They were attentive and made us feel at ease. It’s a family-run hotel, about a block and a half from both the beach and town center. Breakfast and service were good, and the price was reasonable. There are always things any business can improve, just sharing an opinion, not a criticism. We hope to come back. Warm wishes from Elba and Pedro.

The owners and whole team made our honeymoon feel special, especially Gustavo, Claudio, and Francés. My wife and I had a wonderful time, with a comfortable room, a great breakfast, and a convenient location. Sending them a big hug and blessings, and we hope to visit again soon.

Take a look around before paying these prices, there are better options. I found the place on Booking.com but went in person to reserve. The man still wanted to charge me the Booking.com price, even though they take a commission, so it felt like he was trying to pocket the difference and rip me off. The room he showed me was honestly smaller than my dog's kennel. The old hotel looked dirty too.
