Correntoso Lake & River

We had lunch at the restaurant downstairs by the dock, and both the food and atmosphere were great. Our favorite was the trucha dish. We didn’t have dinner at the hotel, so I can’t comment on that. The boutique hotel is beautiful, with incredible views from the room. The staff were attentive and helpful, and the pool and spa area was great. The pool was heated just right for a cold day.

We loved the shared spaces, including the lobby, restaurants, pool, beach access, and spa area. The massages were good too. Our room was spacious but rather dark, and looked onto a parking lot while most of the other travelers had beautiful lake views. When booking, you may want to make sure you get a front room or at least one with privacy. Our bath and tub shower were fully visible from the front entrance area, with no blinds.

The setting is beautiful, but that was the only real highlight for me. Breakfast was just average, the sauna and steam room weren’t hot, and the staff didn’t seem attentive. I left disappointed.
