The hotel’s rooms are clean and well kept, with panoramic views from some of them. Breakfast is fairly standard but satisfying, and the service is friendly and prompt. Just outside Villa La Angostura, it feels peaceful, though a car is recommended for getting around conveniently. There’s a cozy mountain-retreat feel throughout, thanks to all the solid wood. The large fireplace in the dining area adds a lot of charm and makes it a nice spot to unwind.

There are several things the hotel should improve. We stayed in Suite Room No. 6, where the view wasn't great, and we'd have preferred a higher floor. The bed in Room 6 squeaked whenever we moved, making it hard to sleep. The floor was extremely cold in winter, even with the heaters turned all the way up. The TV was awkwardly mounted above the fireplace, and there was no Netflix, HBO, or Disney+. Wi-Fi was very poor and needs urgent attention. After it snowed at night, the path to the main road hadn't been cleared or salted. Since the road is very steep and we're inexperienced drivers, we had to wait for the snow to melt naturally. At breakfast, the lounge music was a bit too loud for 9am.

We enjoyed the jacuzzi during our one-night stay, and the hotel was very comfortable with friendly staff. Breakfast with a view was really nice. Vehicles with higher clearance will find the access road easier.

We spent happy afternoons reading in the main room, and on our last night we had a warm fire outside on the porch. The hotel has all the important things: a perfect location, kind staff, and stunning views. As an American/Argentinian couple traveling together, we highly recommend staying here in La Angostura.
