Hostel La Angostura

The dorm beds were pretty comfortable and came with a shelf, light, and plug. There was also a large, well-equipped kitchen and a great common room with pool, ping-pong, and board games. The staff were friendly and helpful, with lots of local information about places to go and things to do. It's a nice hostel in a great location. A few things brought it down for us: we had to make our own beds and strip them when leaving, and the included breakfast was very basic and could have used some protein like yogurt or eggs. Having the dorm bathroom ensuite also made mornings awkward, since the sink was right in the room and brushing your teeth could disturb others. Still, it's a good place to stay, and a few tweaks would make it fantastic.

The pillows were terrible, but everything else was perfect. It's a cute, cozy hostel with a clean, laid-back feel, nice staff, and everything you need. Breakfast is included too.

Our room was nice and really clean, and the staff were friendly. Wi-Fi worked well throughout the hostel. There were a couple of parties while we were there, though, with people shouting and singing until midnight. We couldn't sleep before then.

The owner was very kind, and it's a nice hostel.
