The worst hostel experience I've ever had. We arrived late, around 9pm, tired and under an overcast sky, and didn't look any further. We paid U$D25 for a smelly place with no decent, relatively clean bathroom, and the lack of cleanliness was everywhere. Both the men's and women's bathroom doors wouldn't close, so there was no privacy or way to lock them. My girlfriend walked into a girl on the toilet in the women's bathroom because the door was unlocked. The sink was clogged and had a note saying not to use it. The shower and bathtub looked like they had never been cleaned. The toilet I used was blocked, with feces floating nearly to the brim. The whole hostel smelled stuffy, with smoke in the air all the time. The bunk beds were broken in the middle, so the mattress and your bottom sagged way down. The pillows and bedspread were worn out and smelly, and there was dust all over the floor and chairs. Around 10am, as we were leaving, the guys started DIY repairs at the front reception. It was extremely unpleasant to listen to, especially for anyone having breakfast. There was a bar and pool table downstairs, which could have been a nice spot for a drink or a game. But if you want somewhere quiet and clean, this isn't it. Horrible from every angle.

Don't trust the photos. The bathrooms, bedrooms, and kitchen were incredibly dirty, and the price was outrageous for the kind of service you'd expect as a traveler. Don't count on breakfast. Try eating outside, and take a shower if you can. Also, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights it operates as a bar, with loud music until 3am. If you need rest, it's a bad choice. I feel sorry for the people who live there, but you can't expect a friendly atmosphere in a place like this. Honestly, I wouldn't give it even one star.

The place needs a lot of maintenance and cleaning. You can never tell who the staff are. There's a lot of room for improvement.
