The owners were a great help, sharing ideas for things to see and places to enjoy around Villa Pehuenia. We also had somewhere safe to leave our bikes when we weren't riding. The dorms were clean and made up fresh each day, and there was a stocked fridge plus a roomy common area for relaxing and swapping stories. The shower had the best hot water and pressure I've ever had. A friendly, welcoming spot to unwind. Highly recommended.

The view is stunning, and the facilities are lovely. Javier and Claudia were wonderful, patiently and kindly answering all our questions. The hostel was spotless, and the other guests were friendly, giving the place a really pleasant feel that seemed to come from the owners' own kindness. A dream stay.
The owners made this place feel so warm and welcoming, and I'm really glad I found Villa Pehuenia through their recommendations. The shared space has an incredible view, and there's a grill, pool table, and fully equipped communal kitchen. Everything was consistently tidy and clean. One of the best hostels I've stayed at so far, thank you so much!
The guests were so friendly that we ended up going on a few hikes together, and that helped make our stay a great start to our trip through southern Patagonia. Javier and Kronos were wonderful hosts, always attentive and sharing helpful information about the area. Kronos is the German Shepherd who greeted us so lovingly. The bathroom was clean, and although guests were constantly coming and going, everyone was incredibly nice. The mountain setting and facilities were beautiful. The bunk beds were a little uncomfortable, but about what you'd expect in this kind of place. It was our first visit to Villa Puehina, and accommodation had been hard to find before we finally booked here. The gravel road to Villa Puehina takes longer than you might expect, but we had some peaceful, lovely days. On our last day we also went to the opening of a new adventure park, which made the experience in the area and at the hostel feel complete.
Javier was especially attentive and helpful, and I appreciated how committed he was to making things go well. I used the hostel as my base for a bike tour, staying one night at the start and one at the end. The rooms are well laid out, and the hostel is comfortable, clean, and tidy. I'd happily choose it again next time I'm in Villa Pehuenia.
