La Casona del Camino Real

We went for dinner on our last night in Jujuy, and the owners served us with such warmth and kindness. The place is lovely, with large gardens and a big house with a fireplace. They even gave us a toast as we were leaving. The value for money is excellent. If you're in Yala or Reyes, it's a must for breakfast, afternoon tea, or dinner. We'll be back, and next time we'll stay!

The food at their restaurant is delicious, and breakfast is served generously. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the owner, Josefina, is so kind, helpful, and attentive. It's a beautiful, comfortable old house with a pool and a dreamy veranda, ideal for unwinding and enjoying the river sounds and peaceful nature. They also have a hall for all kinds of events. Great for couples, families, or groups of friends. I recommend it 100%!

The natural beauty of this place, typical of Jujuy, is undeniable, and the lodging comments I've read are a mixed bag. But I'm speaking directly to the owner: if you have a hall for PARTIES, why rent it out for that? I read a comment saying it was rented for a quinceañera and you complained about the loud music. So why have a hall for PARTIES, and why rent it for a quinceañera? You'll defend yourself by saying you make clear before the rental that only background music is allowed. Yeah, right. But not like this, sir. On top of that, you're rude and arrogant. People, be careful not to be fooled. The hall you have IS NOT FOR PARTIES. If you want to rent a place for lunch or dinner with background music, at cell-phone volume or whatever, that's up to you. And if the truth bothers you, sir, I'm sorry. I haven't lied about anything. I was there and experienced it all, including your arrogance.

It's an excellent place, spacious and comfortable for a lot of people. The pool area could use more lighting. Visitors should know that noise isn't allowed because of the neighbors. That's all. Highly recommended.
