The location is superb and the host is friendly. The house gets very hot, though, and there's no air conditioning. With the windows open, mosquitoes come inside.

Staying at Marianne's feels almost like coming home to us. The apartments are practical and, above all, clean, with a breathtaking view of Abtenau and the mountains. Marianne is a wonderful landlady who's always glad to help. We love sitting in her cozy living room and listening to her stories in her distinctive Austrian dialect. Over the years she's become a good friend, and we'll definitely return.

We had our little dog with us, and Marianne made us all feel very welcome. The view and the surroundings are fantastic, and parking right outside the house was handy.

The staff were unbelievably rude. On top of that, the old beds were very uncomfortable, and mosquitoes and moths got in every night even with the windows shut.

The price was excellent, and the landlady was very friendly. We stayed in a lovely holiday apartment with a magnificent view of the Tennengebirge and Dachstein mountains.
