The terrace has a breathtaking view, though with so many hiking routes and nearby attractions, we barely had time to sit there. There’s a lot to explore around Abtenau, so make sure you have plenty of time for your holiday. The apartment was clean and lovely, a good fit for two guests or a family with two children. Ulrike and Walter were wonderful, welcoming and modest hosts, always ready to help. We’ve just come back from our holiday and will certainly return. I can’t recommend Haus Sonnblick enough!

We had wonderful mountain views from the living room, bedroom, and balcony, and even enjoyed feeding the rabbits. The apartment was comfortable and well equipped in a beautiful family home. Walter and Ulrike made us feel at home and were so helpful. Abtenau is a lively, attractive town.

The house is close to the town center, with shops, restaurants, and the tourist information office nearby. You can also find all kinds of summer and winter activities around Abtenau. Our apartment at Haus Sonnblick was modern, clean, and well equipped, with a large balcony that’s lovely when the sun is out and fantastic mountain views. Thanks to Riki and Walter for the warm welcome, helpful tips, and hospitality. Lena and I had a wonderful stay!

It’s a short walk to hiking and running trails, as well as the center of Abtenau. The supermarket is about 1,300 meters away. The owners are very attentive, the service is friendly, and communication in English was excellent. The family atmosphere and lovely window views made our stay even better. A wonderful place for a family holiday, and I recommend it to anyone still deciding.
