We stopped in for dinner, and the food was really good. The Abtenauer schnitzel was especially tasty.

A lovely family-run hotel in a beautiful town. The restaurant staff and waiters were so kind, and the food was excellent.

The sauna area was a real highlight, and it's only a 10-minute drive to the slopes. We had half board, so breakfast and dinner were included, and both were amazing. Wonderful food, fantastic staff, and an excellent hotel. Thanks for making our stay unforgettable.

Over 90 minutes for a few schnitzels, with no warning beforehand and no apology. When they finally arrived, the portion was small for such a high price. Too little, far too late. 😊 Even paying took ages, and there was no thanks or goodbye. I'm not used to service this bad in Austria.

The food was delicious every night, and the desserts were the best. Hotel Goldener Stern in Abtenau has such a welcoming atmosphere. Gerhard and his family look after every guest's needs, and the hotel has been family-run since 1592. Our room was large and comfortable, with a little balcony and a lovely mountain view. We had the best time here. Simply AMAZING! ❤️ I can't recommend it enough. Thank you for everything.
