Dinner and breakfast were something we looked forward to each day, especially thanks to Mr. Zoran. On our first evening he gave us such a warm welcome. Our dinner slot was quite late, so when I asked about our younger daughter, he immediately arranged an earlier time that worked better for young children. He also made sure we had a pleasant table and were comfortable at meals. He’s friendly with guests and knows how to connect with both older and younger visitors. The reception staff were welcoming as soon as we arrived. My German is limited, so we started speaking English, but when they realized we were from Slovenia, the staff also offered explanations and conversation in Slovene. Everyone was kind, helpful, professional, and competent. They listened and tried to meet guests’ wishes where possible, and I saw them treat others with the same care and respect. We could leave our luggage safely in the hotel’s storage area on both arrival and departure days, which let us make the most of the day and enjoy the snow. The staff deserve all the praise. This will be our third visit, and we’ll certainly return. I hope the hotel keeps up the high standard of hospitality we experienced, and wish you continued success. Kind regards, Marko Praznik

After skiing, it was great to have a pool, whirlpool, sauna, and restaurant with delicious food. The staff were friendly everywhere. It’s a beautiful old hotel that’s been restored, with all the facilities you need.

The staff were very polite, but we had a few issues. Our room was expensive compared with nearby hotels, yet there was also a daily electricity fee of 3,5€. Parking spaces are very tight and cost 10€ a day; otherwise, you have to park on the street, five minutes away. We also had to ask for shampoo because room service hadn’t replaced it for 24 hours.

Be aware of the strict cancellation and change conditions. They require 100% payment 14 days in advance. I paid 30% and didn’t notice this rule in the booking confirmation. Summer weather can change a lot and be rainy, so I’d suggest making a reservation no more than 2 day in advance.
