The L-shaped balcony was the best part, with open views over the woods and mountains. Our family of two adults and two kids were looked after extremely well by the hosts. The apartment had very good beds, decent bathrooms, and a kitchen that would do for a week or two. Set in a scenic part of Erlfeld, it’s also handy for driving to attractions around Abtenau. We especially liked the early morning walks in the woods when it was warm, and if you’re lucky, you might spot deer grazing. A lovely getaway, highly recommend.

We’ve been coming back for years, ever since I was a little kid. The family who run the farm and apartments are very friendly, and the farmhouse sits in a peaceful spot with beautiful views. Highly recommended!

The balcony has a magnificent view, and the apartment is thoughtfully equipped. There’s plenty of crockery and cutlery, lovely dishes, pots and pans for all kinds of cooking, and really nice glasses, including wine glasses. Everything is clean and well maintained, and the apartment is furnished with care. The hosts are friendly, attentive, and helpful. The animals seem content and behave well. If you ask, milk, rolls, and butter are brought to the door in the morning. Prices are reasonable and moderate. I’d definitely like to come back.

The terrace gave us a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains, and the family farm was a perfect base for exploring by car. We stayed in 08.2023, and the apartment was clean, quiet, and nice. The people were lovely and helped us with tips for trips, and owner Anna provided discount cards when we asked. The area is also great for bike rides. Nearby options include the Lammerklamm gorges, the Dachstein mountain range, swimming in the Lammer river, and in Abtenau, a playground, swimming pool, cable car, and Karkogel bobsleigh track. There are also waterfalls near Golling, the Hallein salt mines, Hallstatt, and Wolfgangsee lake. Thank you, we’d be happy to come back.
