About ten days before we were due to arrive, the hotel contacted us to cancel, saying they were full, even though our booking was confirmed. We pointed out that we had a contract and they were expected to accommodate us. Their response was that they would put us up in their bedroom. Funny.

We had a lovely balcony view, and there was a small fridge in the room. Bikes can be kept on the property too. The B&B was peaceful, and breakfast was generous and thoughtfully prepared. The hostess was very friendly.

Our little one was delighted, and we all had a really enjoyable stay. I usually book hotels, so staying at a B&B for the first time changed my mind about doing that every time. The owners were very friendly, and they handled our special breakfast requests. Breakfast was excellent. The room felt new, with a cozy rustic look that fit the local style. Everything was spotless, and the bathroom had just been renovated. From bed, we could see the mountains across the cow pasture. The town center is about a ten-minute walk away.
