There is a separate bike garage with charging points for e-bikes, and the room itself was clean. It does feel dated, very much like the 70s. At €168 for one night in a double room, I didn't think the value was there, especially with a barely standard breakfast. No whole-grain options, and we had to ask for fruit. The host was friendly, though overly formal and at times a bit pedantic.

For a short weekend at Lake Achensee, this guesthouse worked really well. The room was clean and nicely maintained, and the price was perfectly reasonable. The friendly, helpful service started with the phone booking and continued when we arrived. We'd love to return!

It's a very quiet spot, with parking and a place to charge your own bikes. The host is friendly, always up for a chat, and glad to share tips for excursions. We'd be happy to come back.

After a 14-hour day of activities, my usually level-headed partner was so upset by the rude, aggressive old man, the “landlord,” that he got on his bike and said he'd rather sleep under the stars than under their roof. I wouldn't even give it one star, but the site requires one to post a review.

We've been returning for four years with our father-and-son group, and always feel right at home. The hosts are friendly and helpful, and it's only a few minutes' walk to the ski lift. A great guesthouse.
