Fischerhof Glinzner

The bathrooms and showers stayed spotless, and there’s a good restaurant on site with meat and fish dishes and courteous service. We stayed in July in a little wooden house shaped like a barrel. It was comfortable and cool at night, though it got quite hot during the day. The campsite has its own small beach right beside Lake Afritz.

We finally had a little free time during our busy summer and stopped for lunch at Fischerhof restaurant in Afritz am See, just a few minutes away. The food was fantastic and came quickly. We’ll return, and we’ll recommend it to our guests for dinner too.

We stayed in the Fishing Huts and the Gasthaus. The hut was spacious, right by the water, and had everything we needed. There’s a lovely, easy 5k walk around the lake, and kids can swim safely. It’s a wonderfully secluded place on a small lake, with pitches for tents and camper vans. The restaurant is genuinely very good, which makes sense with the owner and his son running the kitchen.

This is a hotel and restaurant, with places to park a caravan. Someone local recommended it to me. I ordered fish with vegetables, potatoes, pasta, and rice. Thanks, it’s worth trying. 👍🏻
