The hotel is no longer independent and is now just used for rooms. The food at the nearby hotel is mediocre at best, with no vegan options at all. The waiter looks like frodo, which was the best part of dinner in my opinion. The rooms are okay, not very big, but clean.

At least it’s in the centre of the village. When we arrived there was no receptionist; eventually he showed up with a beer in his hand, and we never saw him again. We had to go to other hotels or restaurants for meals. We travelled as a group but were split between three hotels, and the people from our group staying here were the only guests in this hotel. The chambermaids only made our beds and never brought fresh soap or towels. The Wi-Fi wasn’t good.

The rooms were fine. There was no parking, and it felt like a ghost hotel, with no reception or staff apart from guides from home. There was no bar either. The spa was at another hotel and wasn’t really a spa, just an empty sauna place.

Comfy beds, hot showers, strong WiFi, cold beer and great food. The staff were amazingly helpful, and the location was central. What more could you need?
