The rooms were spotless, cozy, and had plenty of charm. We also really enjoyed hearing about the area and local food over breakfast. My family and I loved staying at Ortnerhof Ennstal, surrounded by peaceful mountain scenery. The couple who run it have everything so well organized, and their warm hospitality made the stay feel authentic. A lovely choice for families who enjoy nature.

The owners made us feel looked after from the moment we arrived, and they were so warm and helpful. Even though the village is quiet and small, shops and restaurants in nearby towns are easy to reach. I only stayed one night while traveling from Munich to Italy, but Ortnerhof was a great find. The guesthouse is peaceful, charming, and spotless, with beautiful, comfortable rooms and a quirky touch. I especially liked the bathroom and shower design. Breakfast had plenty of variety and was very good. The cozy breakfast room also becomes a lounge in the evening, a comfortable spot to sit with a beer. I’d happily return for a longer stay and would recommend it.

The view from the room was fantastic, and breakfast was delicious. I arrived by motorcycle and didn’t want to ride it to dinner, so I asked whether I could borrow a bicycle. Bike rentals aren’t listed at the property, but the host lent me his for the evening. It was a great experience.
