The hotel restaurant is cosy, the food is good, and the wine list is good value with a nice selection. The rooms are tidy and nice, and the location is perfect. But the service was very poor. We were six people with three rooms and hadn’t checked in online ahead of time, which the receptionist treated like a crime. Two friends wanted to join us for dinner and sit at our table, where there were seats free, but they weren’t allowed, even though the hotel has a restaurant. On checkout day, they also wouldn’t let our car stay in the hotel parking for the rest of the day. They offered no alternative, such as the valet service other 4* hotels in Ischgl provide for public parking. Whenever we asked for something, we got excuses like “it is very very busy,” “we are full,” or that they lacked parking because their personnel was sleeping in Mathon and needed to park in front of the hotel.

A waste of time and money. These people simply don’t treat you with respect. Don’t go there! There are many better options in Ischgl.

The hotel may be nice, but I wouldn’t give them any money because the service is bad. Mrs Ganahl was rude, unpleasant, and unhelpful. Ischgl is beautiful and I’d love to visit again, but I’d stay at any other hotel.

We booked a room at Gramaser hotel in Ischgl three weeks ahead. Then, just three days before we were due to arrive, they messaged to say the room had been double booked and cancelled our reservation. We had to look for another hotel at very short notice, right in the high skiing season, when finding a good place at a reasonable price is next to impossible. Very disappointing!

The service was absolutely fantastic. We had a great dinner at the restaurant of Gramaser Hotel, with soft, tender steaks and an elegant wine from a quite rich cellar that includes more than Austrian wines. If you’re happy to spend a bit more for a nice place, this restaurant is worth a visit.
