The place is set up to a very high standard, with quality furnishings, a comfortable bedroom, sauna, Turkish bath, infrared sauna, and a playroom. The details are well thought through, from the welcome package and daily tea to the guest briefing about the property and area. There’s also a drying room for skis and snowboards, plus fridges for guests. Breakfast is amazing, and a light dinner can be arranged if you’re too lazy to go out. It’s about a 20-minute drive from two ski areas, Planneralm and Tauplitz, so we could choose between them. Around the village there are several hiking routes, a lake, and riding stables. Three palaces or castles and a small airport are about 10 minutes away by car, and a large spa resort is around 20 minutes away. I was there in early March, and this is the best gasthaus or B&B I’ve ever stayed in. I’ll come back in summer, and again in winter, to enjoy the weekly BBQ.

We felt very comfortable here as a family. Glitschnerhof has the welcoming feel of a small family-run guesthouse, along with conveniences you might expect from a larger hotel, including a generous breakfast buffet, daily room cleaning, and a small sauna area. We’d gladly recommend it.

This was our third visit, and we had a great time again. The rooms were clean and well equipped, with a lovely balcony. Our hosts were friendly, helpful, and clearly worked hard. We’ll definitely return.

The regional breakfast was a real highlight, with lots of fresh farm products, and it was delicious. My daughter and I felt at home right away at the Glischnerhof thanks to the warm, friendly welcome. The garden is beautifully kept, with plenty of animals and great play spaces for children, which makes it ideal for families. It’s a relaxing place to enjoy some time away. Thanks for a wonderful stay, and we wish you all the best and many more lovely guests.
