The place was beautiful, and the views were stunning, but what made our stay special was the hospitality. You welcomed us with such kindness and a warm smile that we felt right at home, almost like staying in a family home instead of a hotel. We really appreciated the care and lovely attitude. Thank you for everything, and we hope to visit again soon! Warm regards, Hikmat kabaha Sarah kabaha

We enjoyed the apartment overall. Guesthouse apartment #5, on the top floor, was spacious, clean, and nicely built, right in the center of Alpbach. But there were some things to know about before booking. Orbitz listed free breakfast and underground parking, but neither was available. Parking on the street in a paid zone got me a €20 ticket. We were promised a free local access card, but the landlady offered it only on the afternoon before we left. Laundry was mentioned in the ad, though it's not in the apartment and you have to ask for it. There was a dishwasher but no detergent. One afternoon, a workman came into the apartment without notice to tinker with the wifi.

The balcony view was amazing, and our host was the loveliest, cheerful, friendly, and accommodating. This cozy, authentic alpine guesthouse is in a small village. Breakfast was included, delicious, and the best we had on our Europe trip. The price was very reasonable for mid-July. I'd travel across the Atlantic to visit again!

We stayed in July 2018 and had a really pleasant time. The room had a beautiful view, and it was good value for the money.
