Alpenhotel

There’s a handy shop right beside the hotel, and the setting is lovely, with plenty of free parking. The building has an elevator, so it’s accessible apart from one step between the parking area and the hotel, which may also help parents with strollers. The rooms feel dated. A lake-facing room gives you a lovely view, but there’s a busy road directly below the window. The church about 20 meters away rings often too. That might not bother someone used to city noise, but it can be a lot if you’re hoping for a peaceful holiday. The grounds aren’t fenced, so keep an eye on children near the road. You have to cross it to get anywhere.

The lake is only a five-minute walk away, and there’s a supermarket 50 meters from here. It’s a cozy place with a great view and a first-rate kitchen. One room, one sauna, included. I’d recommend it for either a holiday or a business trip.

The beer garden is lovely, the drinks are good, and the menu has nice options. The staff are super friendly. Some dishes were perhaps a little over-seasoned, but it’s a very good place to go.

The spring menu is excellent, and the other dishes are a solid A+ too.
