A wonderful place, and the owners are so nice!

There are three bedrooms, each with a double bed, so this is a lovely holiday home for a big family or a group of friends. The kitchen has everything you need to cook, apart from groceries and spices. There are some great places to visit nearby, and we’d love to come back.

We’ve just returned to Germany after two weeks and already miss this beautiful house. We felt extremely comfortable there. It stands on its own among cow pastures and forests, with a fenced garden where the children can safely watch the cows grazing and drinking in the morning and evening. It’s ideal for dog owners too, since the garden is completely fenced, with a net still stretched in front of the pasture fence. You can hike up to 2000 meters within two hours and enjoy hearty food at the alpine pastures, including Mahdalm, Loseggalm, and Sulzbachalm. The house has everything you need and is furnished with lovely attention to detail, without feeling cluttered or too modern. Wi-Fi was always good, although mobile reception was rather poor. There’s a supermarket and restaurant within walking distance. Everything was perfect for us, and we’d gladly come back.

We’re already looking forward to another holiday at Plaik Häusl. Dear Pöltzleitner family, we’ll be back! The quiet here is wonderful. In Neubach Valley in Annaberg-Lungötz, the babbling fountain in front of this romantic house and the flowing Neubach stream are the only sounds around. Even those soothing sounds disappear when you close the windows. It’s a perfect place to unwind. The house has everything you need, including a pod coffee machine, and the crackling wood-burning stove completes the fairytale feel. You don’t need a television to relax, though there are two. The beds are comfortable, with mattresses that aren’t too firm or too soft. Both bathrooms are beautiful and make you want to pamper yourself. A wonderfully good little inn is just a five-minute walk away, and lovely hikes start right from the house, so you can recharge without a car. Do pick up your breakfast rolls in the morning, though, or late risers might have to wait a bit for breakfast. The nearest ADEG supermarket is about a three-minute drive away. The Friedel Family
