Arnie Apartman

Plenty of space, clean, and parking 👍🏽

For a quick night off the highway, the apartment is spacious and has the basics. The mattress is decent, though the sheets had a stain that looked impossible to wash out, or maybe they had not been washed. The place felt gloomy from arrival: the building looked unsettling, and there was only one kitchen light. The hallway light and the apartment's outside light were out, so I had to use my phone to see the code. A man from the house held the door from inside while shouting "pen pen pen" as he put the dog outside on a leash. Once inside, I realized this strange man was right next to us in the apartment. The couch was especially uncomfortable, and the TV from the next-door apartment roared all evening. Another group was partying outside by the fireplace, and with no door between the living room and bedroom, we could hear both sides. There was very little hot water, so the shower was disappointing. The T-mobile modem asked for login details and said the internet would not work without them. It was enough for one night and a quick departure, but I would not want to stay longer. A different apartment, in another location and building, would have helped.

We got a decent night's sleep and then continued our trip. We had stopped on the way back from Italy and only needed somewhere to sleep for one night, so the spacious, nicely furnished apartment with everything we needed did the job. The building itself felt a bit like a horror movie. Some lights didn't work, the neighbors behaved strangely, and being on the ground floor made us nervous about opening a window in case someone surprised us. A drunk neighbor cut short our car-side night disco when he left around 11, probably heading to an afterparty. The loud Austrian news on the TV next door also stopped at about the same time.

After a long drive, the fragrant bedding was just what I needed. Our family of two slept comfortably in this large, lovely apartment, which also has parking. The kitchen is well equipped with a microwave, hob, and refrigerator, and there’s everything else you need too, including an iron, hairdryer, and Wi-Fi.
