The breakfast was really tasty, and the Christmas decorations were lovely, especially the gingerbread wall and Santa’s “railroad,” which seems like it’d be great for kids. The staff were exceptionally good at their jobs, and there’s plenty of parking. Extra points for the restrooms and the dog bar. A 15/10 experience.

The Käsespätzle with the salad bar was rich and comforting, and we enjoyed it so much that we took two slices of cake along too. We came across Oldtimer Zöbern - Autobahnraststation & Motorhotel on the drive from Vienna to Graz, and it made for a lovely break, with beautiful scenery and a cosy, relaxed feel. The staff were warm and friendly. We’d happily stop again.

The kids had plenty to do here: there’s a huge toboggan inside that drops down two levels, plus a big playroom at the bottom and animals outside on the terrace. It was a welcome break after hours in the car. The restaurant has a buffet or a typical menu, and the food was tasty. Portions weren’t huge, but just right for one person. We were really glad we stopped and I’ll recommend it to my friends.

The man sitting on the toilet is such an iconic attraction 😂👌 It makes this place even more memorable and gives it a lot of character.

I come here for a quick meal on my drives, and the food has been good and fresh. The ham was delicious, and we only waited five minutes. The service was fast and very professional, and the place is clean, traditional, and really nice. I’ve only stopped for breakfast, so I can’t comment on the rooms. Highly recommend.
