A real gem, and I wish I’d stayed longer. The surroundings are stunning, the views are beautiful, and this professionally run hotel and restaurant is lovely and well priced. I can’t believe it’s so affordable. Fantastic breakfast, free parking, and animals are allowed. What’s not to like? 10/10

The hotel sits right in front of Attersee, with beautiful views. I booked an e-mountain bike there for two days and it was really good. I rode from Attersee to Hallstättersee. The guy at reception, who seemed to be a co-owner, was polite, understanding, and behaved well. I also had a pretty good lunch there on my way back. If you're heading into the hills for more than 80Km, remember to ask for the e-bike charging cable.

The food was excellent, and the wine and aperitif were lovely too. We were impressed by the service and atmosphere when we visited the restaurant today. Young Mr Haberl served us, and senior Mr Haberl was there as well. Highly recommend it. We’ll definitely come back.

We’ve been enjoying the hospitality of family Haberl since 1975. This is a traditional but modern Austrian hotel where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful nature around you. It’s family-owned, with friendly stuff, very nice local hand-made food, and an incredible view over the lake and mountains from the hotel terasse. There’s a golf ressort right beside it, and a private beach just a few minutes away. You can eat and drink indoors or outside. The surrounding area is a paradise for outdoor activities, with spots for hiking, mountaneering, rock climbing, swimming, canoeing, diving, canyoning, and more. Just come here and relax.
