A truly relaxing little getaway. This privately run apartment tucked into the farmhouse attic is a dream, with everything you need. You can tell the landlady looks after it with real care, and she also shares useful tips and information about excursions.

The roughly 400-year-old Erath family farmhouse in Au made a wonderful home for our week. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed to cook for ourselves. Each morning, we could also get fresh eggs and milk straight from the farm for breakfast. We’d highly recommend staying here, with kids or without.

We stayed in January 2023 and had such a lovely, relaxing time. The apartment was cozy, clean, and well kept, and we’ll definitely return. The family made us feel at home right away, and the whole village welcomed us warmly. We especially enjoyed the horse-drawn sleigh ride. Every morning there were fresh eggs from the farm chickens, and at Mathias's barn he was always happy to show us around and explain the daily work and the cows. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. The farm is lovely and very well looked after, and our small apartment for two was spotless. Leaving a basket and jug by the door meant we could get eggs and milk. We really enjoyed talking with Katja about our excursions. The location is handy, close to the bus stop and shops, and there are nice hiking paths that start right at the farm.
