The rooms were barely livable, and getting warm water was a struggle. We had to ask two or three times for soap, too, and none was available at reception. We’d arrived late, but that didn’t seem a good reason for the room not to have basic toiletries. The biggest issue was Mr. X’s way of dealing with customers. He tried to charge more than the amount agreed over email while I was paying by card. Be watchful. I left my charger, cable, and travel adapter behind. He said he would ship them and asked for my address, but after I followed up, he nastily told me never to call about it. I didn’t ask him to send the items; he offered, and I was only checking because he hadn’t shared any post details or replied to my emails. I sent three emails and made two calls, with no intention of harassing him. The items were worth 30 Euros, not 7 Euros for just a cable. On that last call, his tone was out of line. He yelled, and saying “Es ist mir Wurst” three times was a shocking way to speak to a customer. I stayed quiet while he seemed to enjoy shouting, but nothing justifies that tone or language. I’ve never had a worse hotel experience. What a sad example of rudeness. If he won’t take this feedback constructively and keeps treating customers this way, I’m sure it’ll bring shame to the business. I’m sharing what happened, with all due respect. Best regards.

I had a private solo room on the top floor, and the location was super convenient. The staff were helpful, and breakfast was enough to get the day started. There was a group of students on a school trip at the same time, so evenings got a little noisy, but that’s expected with kids. I had a great time and would definitely stay again.

The room was great for the price, especially how spacious it was. The view was lovely, and the beds were good, though nothing special. On the last day, the air cleaner started making odd noises. I opened it and found it almost completely clogged with dirt. I took a photo after cleaning some of it, which made it much quieter. I’d give the place four out of five stars. Everything else was good, but a dirty air cleaner during a global pandemic is a serious concern. It makes me wonder if the cleaners in the other rooms were in a similar state. I hope they clean them and change the filters ASAP, or they’ll just contribute to the COVID-19 pandemic.

We came with our family to visit the Christmas market in Wolfgangsee and booked this place hoping for a happy stay. Unfortunately, choosing it was bad luck for us. The man there was never guest-friendly, and was rude and irritated all the time. We left our charger, cable, and adapter behind. He said he had couriered them, but more than a month has gone by and we still haven’t received anything. It’s not really about the items anymore, it’s about the integrity and how customers are treated and kept informed.
