The rooms were very comfortable, and the staff were welcoming. We also ate well here. A great place to stay while visiting Ober Austria.

We had a really pleasant night at Gasthof Hametner. The room was small for two but neat and surprisingly spacious. Breakfast was very good, especially the scrambled eggs and wonderfully fresh bakery, and we enjoyed dinner at the restaurant too. Service was excellent and kind. We don’t speak much Deutsch, so Mrs. Hameter’s good English was a real help. We also bought Therme tickets at a better price. The only awkward bit was parking: the hotel has space for five cars, and it was full when we arrived, so we found a place on the street.

The fresh beer was a real treat when we stopped at the restaurant in Bad Hall while passing through. The dishes were prepared reasonably well overall. I also noticed paintings on the walls from the period 1939-1945.

Breakfast was amazing, and the rooms felt cozy and comfortable. The owners are exceptionally friendly and kind. A really lovely place.

The staff were friendly, and the beer was good. They serve excellent traditional Austrian food. Try the stuffed pork.
