Bad Ischl was a lovely little town, with a new gem around every corner. There was the beautiful San Nikolaus church, the post office, the river, and pretty little plazas. Keep an eye out for the lovely hand-carved statues for sale.

There's so much history in this very interesting city. Sisi and Francis Joseph I. were here, and the most interesting detail is that the declaration of war against Serbia was signed here, beginning World War 1.

A beautiful little town. It's a shame that Kaiservilla and Sisi Cottage were temporarily closed. Maybe it's a winter break, but I'll definitely come back.
