We found free parking right next to the hotel from Friday at 6 pm until Saturday at 8 pm, and again from noon until Monday. That meant we paid about €4 instead of €36. It’s a shame the hotel hadn’t mentioned this, after telling us there were no free parking options in town and that we had to use the Parkhaus for €18 a day. The spa was a let-down on Saturday afternoon. It was completely overcrowded, and it took us a while just to find a place. We’d booked specifically for a relaxing spa weekend. Dinner was disappointing too compared with similar hotels: the selection was very limited, and the portions were so small that we were still hungry afterward. It’s a lovely hotel in many ways, but these issues need attention before we’d recommend it to others or consider coming back.

We had a comfortable stay, with clean, comfortable rooms that had everything we needed. The spa was enjoyable, and we booked massages with Csilia. She was incredibly friendly and hospitable, and gave the best massage. I highly recommend booking a service with her. Breakfast was included, which is always a plus, and had plenty of hot and cold choices. The dining area was comfortable and very nice. Front desk staff were friendly and attentive, too. It’s just a short walk to the city center, so the location is excellent. I highly recommend a visit!

We chose a room with a terrace, which was very nice, and the location was excellent. The pool and sauna were delightful, new, and modernized. I especially liked the pool’s metal finish, and the fabric loungers were soft. Breakfast was good, and even the toiletries were high quality. We stayed three nights and were pleasantly surprised by the price for the quality. Everything felt new and the rooms were spacious. I had one small question about cleaning, but it was nothing critical, just a detail if you’re being picky. We highly recommend visiting.

I got to the hotel by train and walked about 36 minutes with my 46L backpack. The breakfast buffet was decent, with coffee, juice, fresh fruit, and freshly baked bread. During my two-day stay, the slight smell from recent decorating didn’t affect my enjoyment. We arrived around noon and couldn’t check in early. I understand the usual check-in time is after 3 p.m., but I noticed the hotel parking lot wasn’t very full that day. From a guest’s point of view, it would be really helpful to allow early check-in when rooms are available. The front desk staff were patient, showed me two different rooms, and let us choose which one we preferred. I’ve traveled so many times, and this is the first hotel where I’ve ever forgotten something: my power plug adapter. 😭
