This was our second year back, after friends recommended Hoferwirt as their favorite ski trip stay. They were right, everything has been superlative both times. The location is excellent for skiing in a stunning area, and the staff are very friendly. The ingredients seem carefully sourced from local producers. Breakfast is generous, and the refined four-course dinner and dessert are delicious. We’ll most likely return.

Hakim really made our stay brighter. He greeted us with a big smile whenever he saw us and always took time to ask about our day. The family owners and the rest of the staff were lovely too. Our room had a balcony with breathtaking views, a lovely place to relax after skiing. Hoferwirt sits in the middle of a small town, with easy bus access to the mountains and some hiking trails nearby. Breakfast was good, and every night’s five-course dinner had a variety of fantastic dishes. We had a lovely stay.

The fish at the hotel restaurant was fantastic, cooked just right and full of flavor.

We picked the restaurant for Easter dinner and were so glad we did. Even though it was a packed, busy evening, the host and waitstaff were lovely and took their time with us. The wine list was excellent, and every dish exceeded our expectations, with loads of flavor and seasonal ingredients. We can’t wait to return!

Right in the heart of Neustift, this is always a great place to eat. The service is great, and the typical local food comes in generous portions. We shared a huge, delicious Kaiserschmarrn, and also had a crusty schnitzel and amazing beef stew with pasta.
