The service was poor: there was no room cleaning, breakfast was poor, and dinner service was impolite, with mostly frozen food. For a place aimed at ski tourists, there's no ski storage room either. The pension itself is a cozy old-style wooden house, with lovely design details, a great location, and cozy rooms. I definitely won't come back.

Aleks was a great host who really cares about his guests. Our three-bedroom room was big enough and very clean, with a TV and really comfortable beds. There's a bar and restaurant downstairs with great food, and breakfast was very good too. Everything is close by, so the location is about as good as it gets. You'll definitely like staying here.

I booked a triple room for two adults, though I didn't notice at the time that the booking was for two. When my husband, our 8 years old son and I arrived at 4pm, the owner was really angry that we'd brought our child. I offered to pay extra for him. The room was still for 3, with 2 separate rooms. The owner said “the kid will be my guest.” We went for a walk and came back at 10pm. The door was locked. When he finally opened it, he started screaming at us, took our key, and said we had to leave his property. He said he'd called the police. I said I wanted to speak to the police too, since the room money had already been charged, but he shut the door and left us on the street at 10pm with our 8 years old child. The last thing he said to me in Russian, my mother language, though I've lived in Austria for a long time, was “you can get out and complain to booking”. Our son had his birthday on Sunday. He was kicked out of the hotel 2 nights before it. I don't know if it was because Russian is his mother's language or because the owner is seriously mentally ill. We all feel terrible about what happened. We really want this person to pay our money back and to let people know he is dangerous.

The pension has good parking outside, though it's not that close to the slopes, so you may need to walk a little. The service and food were great, and every meal feels like a gastronomic experience. The portions are very big, which isn't a complaint, so come ready to leave very full.
