Alpenlodge Bad Mitterndorf

The owners were incredibly warm and helpful, which made an already fantastic stay even better. The Alpenlodge is a real gem in the mountains, and the four of us had a wonderful time there. The holiday home has thoughtful details and high-quality furnishings, with everything we needed to arrive, unwind and enjoy ourselves. After active days outdoors, the sauna became our little wellness retreat. The location works well for a holiday that’s both relaxing and active. We’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommended, a 12/10 :)

We stayed at the Alpenlodge over Easter with two adults and two children, and the visit felt far too short. We quickly felt at home, and the children weren’t the only ones who loved the holiday. We’d be very happy to return. The house is quiet and spotlessly clean, with lovely details throughout. The kitchen has everything you could need. In a room between the two semi-detached houses there’s a washing machine, dryer and ski boot dryer, plus a fully stocked fridge with drinks and treats available for a fee. The sauna was definitely the highlight. The owners are helpful, always available, and happy to answer questions. A thermal spa is right across from the house. The Bad Mitterndorf/Tauplitz ski area is easy to reach by car, and there are some excellent restaurants nearby.

We spent New Year’s Eve there as two couples and thoroughly enjoyed the holiday. The home is fantastic, with high-quality furnishings and a harmonious design, all put together with lovely attention to detail. After a strenuous day in the mountains, the sauna was a real treat. We’d come back anytime. Highly recommended.

The apartment was spotless and stylish, and it had absolutely everything we could need. The sauna was a welcome bonus. The Alpenlodge is ideally placed for a relaxing holiday. The owners are friendly and helpful. We’re already looking forward to coming back soon!
